LOL, small detail. I wouldn't be okay with it and I'd ask her to change as it is a habit and a bad one. It wouldn't be me asking her to give up on her dreams or change her personality entirely but it'll definitely be something I wouldn't be thrilled about.

Not something like smoking, though, I wouldn't ever date someone who smokes.

It's kind of cute if say she does it when she's asleep once in a while, but chronic thumb-sucking would make her seem immature and insecure at the same time - it's okay in small moderation but a turnoff if it happens too frequently.

My cousin does that but it's not her thumb it's her index finger and she got married. so I'll assume most guys do not care.

It’s a habit.
When she was little her mom would put spicy chili on her finger so she would stop sucking it and it didn’t work... she put poop on it and it didn’t work, she even burned it and it didn’t work.. it’s awful... I mean she tortured her as a little girl for this... now she is a full grown woman, married with kids and still sucks it...
