+1 yOn a school outing a girl in the class had her period and didn't have any money and she asked me if I could buy her tampons. I agreed and when we got to a convenience store I brought my stuff up to the register and she came right behind me and put a box of tampons on the counter and as soon as the cashier scanned it she hid it in her jacket and walked out. I didn't mention it to anyone else or a make it a big deal and it felt great to help her but she was for sure embarrassed

+1 yDepends on the situation I would think. However they are for a normal female part of life. So while it might be uncomfortable. Still need to get some kind of female hygiene product.
In past relationships I have picked them up for the girl I was dating at the time. If she asked me to do s. Or I noticed she was running low on them. And was not gonna be getting paid until during or after her next period.10 Reply
+1 yNo I don't feel embarrassed to buy tampons for myself. It's a natural process every female has to undergo. I don't know why the society labels it as a taboo.
We as kids were raised by our parents in such a way that today sometimes even my brother goes to buy tampons for me.00 Reply
+1 yWhy? It comes in a box. Checkers are mostly women and none have time to view everything you buy anyway nor care. It is a natural product just as condoms are. Besides, I use the Self Checkout so only I see to begin with.

+1 yNope. There’s nothing to be embarrassed about, especially since cashiers don’t give a rat’s ass what you’re buying. They just scan it and plop it in the bag.

Its true though. I work part time as casheir.
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yHonestly I'm in my twenties and still find it embarrassing to buy feminine products from a store. I don't know what it is, but I just feel like people are aware of it but just do the polite thing by not commenting. Either way I feel a little self-conscious about it :) I can't imagine what it'll feel like when I buy a pregnancy test in a few years lol
00 ReplyI do It... I did it for my mom and I did it for some friends.. and I'll do it again... It's cool.. actually I love girls stuff and learn about it and all that... Love girls.. maybe I love all that that much that and I talk with girls a lot that I kinda have a Friendzone mark hahaha... But seriously... I find it cool

+1 yMaybe when it's the first time they need female hygeine products but otherwise? I highly doubt that. It's not embarrassing to buy toilet paper either so why would it be with pads or tampons?
+1 yDon't give a fuck about it.
What'd they want otherwise? For me to bleed chunks all over the floor? Pft. No thanks.
It's a bodily function and a reality. No need to be embarrassed about it.01 Reply- +1 y
@Christina272 No clue how to do that on this platform yet. What's up?

+1 yNope. That’s like asking if I’d be embarrassed to by bandages for a cut. It’s just a thing that keeps my blood from pouring out everywhere. Buying tampons is less embarrassing than bleeding through my pants.
00 Reply 961 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. No, I usually just act confident because I always get the ultra sized ones (so like extra extra large) and I already am being too risky by getting those, it would be more embarressing to act embarressed

+1 yMaybe young girls gwtting ised to the whole process, but most older gurls are happy to buy them. Better to buy them then. Be caught bleeding everywhere

+1 yNope, I used to buy them for my wife and daughters. Don't give a donkey on what someone else things about my purchase.
Besides, all they care about is doing their job and not about your personal life.10 Reply

00 ReplyNot at all, the other day I went to CVS and bought me the 56 pack of pads and a tube of Preparation H. I'm that person you send to get your embarrassing stuff for you because she gives zero fucks.

+1 yI have bought them for my ex and I love to buy the most embarrassing things, sexually, whatever and go checkout with some little wench and watch her get embarrassed.
00 ReplyUm, slightly. But I always remind myself that at least a billion of other people do it and it shouldn't be taboo.

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yOnly when I was in junior high. Now with condoms I might get embarrassed. Not embarrassed that I might be having sex at my age but what is going through the mind of the cashier which might be nothing at all.

+1 yI don't. I'm only 14 and I have no problem what so ever buying things like tampons or even condoms. Like who cares?

+1 yI don't use tampons, but pads instead, but I assume the question would remain the same.
No, I don't find it embarrassing to buy.00 ReplyWhen you get to the register just ask if they have something for nosebleed and when they don't you buy the tamtons. They won't think it's for your period then.
10 ReplyI still do - granted I’m just incredibly self conscious
10 ReplyNo. I don't care even if the cashier is male. It's natural and I have no problem with it
10 ReplyNo it’s normal women things, Nothing to be ashamed of.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yI switched to menstrual cups a few years ago and haven't bought tampons ever since. I still find it to be a bit awkward when I am buying pads and the cashier happens to be a young man.
00 ReplyBuying them not at all. Carrying them to the restroom at work, yes.

00 ReplyI don't see the point why do woman say tampons hurt your shove fucking dildos up the same whole makes no sense to me
18 Reply- +1 y
Because not all women do that. And it's quite rude to say that all women do said thing, and it could hurt females because it's sliding a bit of cotton on a string into your vaginal region, it would hurt, and I'd say probably a fair bit.

@that_oneguy he never said all

Women is a collective word, like men or children. You don't say "that men hit his wall" or "that children walked her dog"
- +1 y
@that_oneguy if I say dogs like to chase their tails am I implying that 100% of dogs that ever existed absolutely have done this?
- +1 y
Let me answer that for you, no and you'd be stupid to assume so because NO ONE ever means 100% whenever they say something and going with that "hurr not all *insert subject* here* is the world's dumbest straw man because it should be pretty obvious that they realize that rarely is anything actually 100%
- +1 y
Tampons hurt cause they’re dry pieces of cotton. When a woman is about to have sex or masturbate they get aroused and get wet naturally, or they use lube to reduce the friction and make it easier. No woman has ever looked at a tampon and gotten aroused. Tampons go in dry and it can be uncomfortable to take out. It’s like getting carpet burn on your insides.
- +1 y
Probably it depends on the context and a few other things. But probably
Anonymous(25-29)+1 yNo, but I used to. it all depends on what you're taught. There is no reason to be ashamed, most girls have a period.

Girls, would you use disposable period underwear if it was priced the same as regular pads or tampons?
