Girls what does it mean when a girl tells you something that she's never told anyone else?

I've been talking to this girl I met online, and we have gotten a long very well. And suddenly see told me this very deep personal thing in her life and she told me she didn't know why she told me because she has never told anyone that stuff. She also constantly says I'm a very nice person and a good listener. Why would she tell me that only after talking for a few hours?

As others have said, she feels that she can trust you and open up to you. Especially, because you don't know each other in real life. It is easier to be honest with someone when they are behind a screen. Also, I don't know your relationship with this girl, but she could possibly like you. I highly value communication and truly being known in a relationship. Therefore, when I like a guy, I will easily open up to him.

Well there can be many reasons but the 2 reasons I have done it, because I did in the past are:
1: You can tell your secrets more easily to a stranger because you know that you'll probably never meet that person so there is no reason to be ashamed, also you know that the person won't meet any relatives or friends and tell your secret to.

2: You just want attention so you tell the person you trust him or invent some secrets to gain sympathy and then the person will start showing some care and you may begin some online relationship.

she doesn't have to see you in real life so it doesn't matter what she tells you. or you are not judgmental and she feels comfortable sharing with you. There is no risk because she could just cut you off if you negatively reacted

It's very easy to tell people you don't know and don't see private issues that trouble you. They won't be hurt by the information and may see an outcome or advice objectively. I wouldn't take it as anything more than that. Also, they may have wanted to share that with someone and had no one to tell it to. It doesn't mean you're special to them. You were just a convenient ear.

I have been kind, and I let her talk. I try and encourage her to let it all out, but at a pace she's comfortable with. And I let her know I'm here for her, even though I'm a stranger, I'll gladly care for her. And I don't care about a reward, I'm not it the helping business for rewards, I give, I don't expect anything in return.
