all the people saying the child was hungry so it's okay to do anywhere are idiots. That's why we have places for privacy. If you have to piss is it okay to whip your dick out or pop a squat anywhere in public? Why not? You have to pee and peeing is natural. Or should you walk the short distance to somewhere private and take care of business? It's not like the child would starve while you walk 20 feet away to somewhere private. 1. She could have been in the way of people grocery shopping.
She could have gone to the front of the store and used the bench to sit and feed her baby.

While it seems like an inappropriate place to feed a baby, I also remember just how generally critical people are to you as a parent when you're trying to look after a baby or young child so I wouldn't want to be the first to criticise her.

I am NOT anti-breast feeding in public, but seriously, on the floor in the aisle? I've seen it in Church many times, restaurants many times, etc. and that doesn't bother me but I wouldn't breast feed anywhere that I wouldn't sit and feed my 2 yr old kids Cheerios.
