1.7K opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. It's totally normal and wouldn't bother me. Kids are meant to be breastfed until their adult teeth come in or till around 8. The mom is only doing what's natural. If the kid was 10 or older I'd have a different opinion but still they prob wouldn't bother me

Eww I wouldn't agree to such a weird thing! Honestly, I think my mom would've gotten TIRED of my food demands. At 7/8 I could already digest steak and many other human foods! Plus, I don't care if I am judge but I already thought about SEX at that age! It would just be very strange for me! Of course I didn't truly know how to do sex but still! I already saw some adult movies (soft mind you, not hard core stuff) and NO I WAS NOT SEXUALLY ABUSED AS A CHILD YOU WEIRDOS!

@TenderFantasy boobs aren't sexual tho.. they are for feeding babies. As much as people want to think they are sexual they just aren't. I also thought about sex at that age but I wouldn't have connected it to my mom's boobs

+1 yUmm just why? Yeah I’d be judging unfortunately. Breastfeeding is fine but not till that age. That doesn’t seem moral or ethical at that point he has teeth and can talk. I start to side eye people when their child is two and they’re not making any effort to ween. After two I think they’ve gotten all the IQ and immunities they’ll need. Whatever happened to I dunno giving the child ice chips to chew.

+1 y6 years old is too old. Also, time and place. It is bad table manners to breastfeed in a family restaurant in the same way a couple making-out would be, but I wouldn't think twice about either of those activities taking place at a park outside.
But as long as you're not being obnoxious, most people avoid unnecessary confrontation and will not say anything to you.10 Reply

+1 yno, I'm around that now and I humbly submit do whatever you have to do, I'm good with whatever. People should just shut up and mind their business. having a young kid is a lot of work.
Anyone complaining should just "stick it in their ear" so to speak, as Weird Al Yankovic sang in that illustrious star wars song.20 Reply

+1 yI would not judge at all, but knowing how toxic that would be for public consumption, I definitely wouldn't recommend it.
40 Reply I wouldn't mind or judge her, but there are solutions for feeding a baby in public and I would wonder why she chose to breastfeed instead. I think there's like this breast-milk sucking thing and then it puts the milk in a baby bottle. My mom would use them all the time.

+1 yI wouldn’t “judge her” since when was it MY place to judge anyone’s behavior? But I would think it was strange as hell! Also, perhaps that household might benefit from a visit from child protective services, and mom would certainly benefit from a parenting class.

+1 yWhy should I care? It's not my breast he's knawing at lol. And there MUST be a good reason? Maybe he retarded or has special needs? I don't know, I don't have children lol. All I know is I would mind my own business! Probably would think it a bit weird like some people on here say but hey, that's never really stopped weird people from being their weird ass self before right? Lol.
00 Reply2.3K opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. Certainly not judgmental, but I would however be somewhat surprised to say the least.

I would kick both of them the fuck out, and call the cops for the mother engaging in child neglect though.10 Reply
+1 yNot judge, simply ask why. It's not common but it's not unheard of. I just don't see why it's necessary. It's meant for feeding the child until they can start eating more solid foods. At that age, it's just unusual.

+1 yI wouldn’t judge her out loud but inside I’d be thinking That’s kinda weird. And how would I know she’s doing it to soothe him? Does she announce that to everyone?

+1 yI wouldn't jump straight to judging. I'd be curious as to why a child that age is still breastfeeding. Nonetheless I'm not the mother so it's not my business
10 Reply TBH, yes I'd find it strange. However, at the end of the day, stangers' opinions shouldn't really matter. If you, as a parent, find that to be best for your child given their circumstances and situation, then go ahead and do what you feel is right for them. Those on the outside looking in don't have all the facts and details.

+1 yNo. I only have power over what I think I would not do if I ever become a mom and breast-feed. I probably wouldn’t want to breast-feed at that age. I will pump after two years old and them on put bottle.
00 ReplyI'd judge the kid, LOL If he's 6 yo and still needs to suck milk from momma, then there's definitely something wrong with him. All normal kids outgrow that need at what... 2 years of age? Maybe 3 tops, in very rare cases.

+1 y6 years old? That’s a little old to be feeding a kid from the boob. I don’t say I would judge… but it would look highly questionable

+1 yI'd give a quick glance thinking: "Woa! That's a big child!", and mind my own business. If it soothes the kid, then I see no problem.

If you see in a public place a lady who is breast feeding openly her toddler, would you react negatively?

No naked boobs not always mean for sexual attention or attraction because when a mother breastfeed his baby society have duty to respect that lady specially males don't see it with gready 👀 eyes.. Everyone in this world feed from her mother's breast so don't judge it as a sexual attention or attraction

+1 yMost likely that's too old to be breastfeeding. Yet there is no drawback of doing so, better than stopping too soon.
00 Reply 481 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. Any kid past the age of 2 or so, shouldn't be breastfed at all regardless of whether it's in public or private.
