disagree all you like... if we was talking about posts on farcebook and instabollox maybe i would see your point but i think you are underestimating just how confident a woman needs to be to go out in the real world dressed in such a manner... a few likes on socials are a bit different to the catcalling or attempts to grope in public
In my own experience with girls I've met it's been to ways. Some dress that way because they wanted to and didn't care how others thought about it and others did it because they thought it was the only way for people to like them. But I'm a guy so my opinion isn't as important as a girls on this topic
The reason why a person dresses the way she does has so many and individual reasons. There are definitely girls who try to compensate something with showing a lot of skin just as there are girls who are super comfortable in their skin and just feel the most confident in 'revealing' clothes. Or maybe she just feels the most pretty in exactly those clothes? Ever thought about that?
I would think it is the opposite. I have a lot of female friends, and all of the ones who dress revealing seem to have even more confidence than I do, which is a lot.
Again, since you people can't read, the insecurities can stem from somewhere else besides their looks. God it's like I'm talking to a bunch of 5 yr olds.
Well asshole all you put was "Are girls who dress super revealing insecure?" not anything else. But uh usually girls or GUYS (bc guys do it too) dress in revealing clothes bc they are COMFORTABLE in their own body.
Well I see a little differently. I think more often than not, they're trying to fill some kind of void with attention from the opposite sex. According to your logic, dudes that act tough are the baddest dudes alive. Everyone with a sliver of intelligence knows a real tough guy wouldn't feel the need to put on a display for other people.
@Yep12345678 wearing super revealing clothes doesn't indicate their insecurity about their body, they are rather willing to flaunt it so it is the other way around. The void you are talking about, need for attention, that's a different thing.
Umm, sorry but how can you speak so surely on behalf of others? I dress up revealingly and not insecure for sure right now. When i was bigger, i was insecure and constantly seeking validation from others but now i like the way i look and dress up for myself.
It's just the opposite. They are dangling the carrot and playing boys like an orchestra full of nothing but fiddles.

No I think they just want to flaunt that body. Just because they have a great body. It takes great care to get there. I know cause I am still struggling to get that kind of body and just once wear something sexy and it won't look awkward.
If my observations are interpreted correctly, mostly only pretty young women and girls dress in revealing clothes. Such girls usually get a lot of attention. Therefore, instead of being insecure, they should have a lot of confidence.
Good question. They are certainly glutens for attention so the question is can that come from a different emotional place. I'm going to say no to the insecure question but don't have a strong argument yet
yes it is, they choose to wear it for themselves to get attention and comments from people because if they don't get any compliments they are insecure and dont feel beautiful.
@Thefinisher11 catcalling doesn't always happen in revealing clothes. I wear simple jeans and a tshirt and get catcalled. a compliment from the heart is always nice, catcalling is rarely welcome
@Thefinisher11 Again - because people (yes, men too) not only wear clothes for functionality but for fashion as well. I'm sure you too choose your clothes not only on functionality but also on how you think it looks.
Your choice of clothes is always based on both functionality and fashion. Sometimes it's a trade-off between the two and sometimes the two are complementary.
It seems like your reaction is based only on your personal taste. Obviously other people find other clothes attractive than you do. Is that really so baffling to you?
@Thefinisher11 That's okay. But I'm sure I don't need to explain to you that 99% of all people do at least to some extent choose their clothes based on looks as well.
@Thefinisher11 And you're entitled to your opinion on their looks. But you'll have to accept that everyone has a different opinion and everyone finds different things good looking.
My clothes during summer tend to be quite revealing as well, and that's both because of the heat and because I like how it looks on me.
@Thefinisher11 It wasn't always like that. For centuries it was expected from women to cover up everything. It's been only less than a century that women finally started to break those rules and dress as they please.
But the difference between men and women isn't even that big anymore when it comes to revealing clothes. In the summer men walk around in shorts and muscle shirts. I don't see much of a difference.
@Thefinisher11 No, you bigoted moron. Just because the suffix -phobia means fear, doesn't mean that that's what the definition of that specific name. The definition of homophobia is any aversion towards homosexuals. That's simply the name we have created for you pathetic hateful fuckers.
You're such a loser. You walk around incapable of not being a creep (as according to yourself), then blame women for that, you are incapable of accepting the fact that everyone is different and even hate them for being different than you. You know, if the world was full of people who are like you, it would be hell. Thank goodness most people are not as hateful and bitter as you are.
P. S.: What's disgusting is not two people who love each other and have sex with each other who happen to be of the same sex. What's disgusting is you having a problem with different forms of love.
And on top of that you've exposed yourself (more than once) to be a complete hypocrite. You especially dislike gay MEN. That's 100% pure projection. Fucking loser.
"You don't like women in revealing clothes? Are you gay " ?
That's a bit of a double edge sword there pamina Are you suggesting that men who like women in revealing clothes are creeps and men who don't like it are gay?
I hope not
Either way you don't need to worry about that guy he is not active now

Not any more than women who dress very modestly. If anything I think the sexy women are more confident.
obviously, they do it for attention and who else craves for this much attention besides insecure people?
some may well be overcompensating but its more likely the opposite is true in most cases
I disagree. In most cases, it screams "I seek attention because I feel the need to validate myself."

Nah.
According to others I wear revealing clothing.
I'm just comfortable with my body and the human body in general.
That make NO sense! If they were insecure they would wear MORE clothes not less!
@Silent_Eyes
Does this make sense to you?
Again, since you people can't read, the insecurities can stem from somewhere else besides their looks. God it's like I'm talking to a bunch of 5 yr olds.

I can see most people on here have an IQ of about 60.
LMFAO you funny

@32DD_yeye yeye it does.
@Yep12345678 wearing super revealing clothes doesn't indicate their insecurity about their body, they are rather willing to flaunt it so it is the other way around. The void you are talking about, need for attention, that's a different thing.
Why would somebody show what they are insecure about? :/
OMG. It's hiding behind insecurities with their body. 🤦♂️ Are you people seriously that inept?
Umm, sorry but how can you speak so surely on behalf of others? I dress up revealingly and not insecure for sure right now. When i was bigger, i was insecure and constantly seeking validation from others but now i like the way i look and dress up for myself.
I just know. Truthfully, every person has insecurities, they just manifest in different ways.
Yeah everyone does but about diffrent things. For instance i think somebody who is insecure about about their body would prefer covering up
It's just the opposite. They are dangling the carrot and playing boys like an orchestra full of nothing but fiddles.
No I think they just want to flaunt that body. Just because they have a great body. It takes great care to get there. I know cause I am still struggling to get that kind of body and just once wear something sexy and it won't look awkward.

It shows body confidence.
If you got it, flaunt it.
Good question. They are certainly glutens for attention so the question is can that come from a different emotional place. I'm going to say no to the insecure question but don't have a strong argument yet
if they choose to wear it (no one force them) then is not
yes it is, they choose to wear it for themselves to get attention and comments from people because if they don't get any compliments they are insecure and dont feel beautiful.
@Porcelaine and then they complain about catcalling
Seriously why do you even wear revealing clothes , it's just weird
@Thefinisher11 catcalling doesn't always happen in revealing clothes. I wear simple jeans and a tshirt and get catcalled. a compliment from the heart is always nice, catcalling is rarely welcome
Not necessarily. It can be the case for some, but you cannot assume that it's the case for all.
I just love it when people over simplify stuff.
It can be sometimes, but that isn't usually the case or reason.
There are a lot of variables.
Yeah, God bless 'em!
No, usually not. Usually it's actually because they're confident.
But what is the actual need to wear such clothes?
Climate? Because it's too hot? Men wear non revealing clothes or at least wear sleeveless cloths
I'm in noway saying it's one of the reasons for rape , rape is completely on the perpetrators
But it's just weird to see them in revealing clothes
Wouldn't a shirt and jeans be sufficient?
@Thefinisher11 What is the need to wear anything that isn't purely functional? It's called fashion.
That's why jeans , pants and shirts exists
@Thefinisher11 Yes. And?
Isn't that enough why wear such very short shorts ( which makes you look like your wearing underwear )
A nice pants and shirt is enough to make them look attractive why wear soo much revealing clothes
@Thefinisher11 Again - because people (yes, men too) not only wear clothes for functionality but for fashion as well. I'm sure you too choose your clothes not only on functionality but also on how you think it looks.

It seems like your reaction is based only on your personal taste. Obviously other people find other clothes attractive than you do. Is that really so baffling to you?
Haha funny you should say that but no clothes can make me attractive , I'm just physically unattractive
So my attire is purely functional
@Thefinisher11 That's okay. But I'm sure I don't need to explain to you that 99% of all people do at least to some extent choose their clothes based on looks as well.
Well some of them don't realise that they are ugly like me but yea I agree with you
@Thefinisher11 And you're entitled to your opinion on their looks. But you'll have to accept that everyone has a different opinion and everyone finds different things good looking.
My clothes during summer tend to be quite revealing as well, and that's both because of the heat and because I like how it looks on me.

Oh humans are weird creatures fine I'll just let it be
@Thefinisher11 Everything you said so far in this whole thread, including your responses to other comments, is extremely weird to me. So yeah.
Would you consider yourself socially awkward?
Honestly no but I am the group clown who keeps his views such as what we have discussed so far a secret
I can talk to a woman so normally that they would be surprised to know that the sweet , funny , innocent guy is a total weirdo
@Thefinisher11 And you don't like seeing women in revealing clothes. Are you straight?
I am straight I never said I hate but seeing women in revealing clothes makes me stare at them
And when I stare at them I feel like a creep , and if they found out then my life is over
by the way I can't be gay if I'm straight and anti homosexual
@Thefinisher11 So this whole thing is actually not about their behavior but about you.
And does that mean you're not capable of discretely looking instead of staring?
Ah, so you're also a homophobe on top of all that. What a catch you are. :D
Before you block me
Let me explain I have trained my self to ignore them but I also have to keep watch in case of sexual harassment
Seeing a woman get harassed is shameful and boils my blood so I'm sorta worried about them
It's not their fault but you know there are creeps out there
No I'm anti gay not homophobe
Homophobia is the fear of being gay
I just disgusted by gay people especially gay men
But as one human being to another I have to respect them and just let them exist
@Thefinisher11 No, you bigoted moron. Just because the suffix -phobia means fear, doesn't mean that that's what the definition of that specific name. The definition of homophobia is any aversion towards homosexuals. That's simply the name we have created for you pathetic hateful fuckers.

Go fuck yourself, you pathetic incel loser.
@Thefinisher11 bro the fuck did you just say you don't like women wearing revealing clothes because you stare at them
Your blaming them for your lack of self control
@Factualman125 Exactly.
Although yea there is one thing pamina said like
"You don't like women in revealing clothes? Are you gay " ?
That's a bit of a double edge sword there pamina
Are you suggesting that men who like women in revealing clothes are creeps and men who don't like it are gay?
I hope not
Either way you don't need to worry about that guy he is not active now
@Factualman125 No, I was playing dumb. I knew he's a bigot and I just wanted him to show his true colors.
Maybe. Or just the opposite and are very confident.
