Why do girls want to take things so slow?

Most of the time, you find girls saying that guys want to take things too fast. Now my saying why does a girl want to take things so slow? If we're both interested in each other why stretch it out so long? If you can't tell from my age, I'm pretty ignorant on this dating stuff but im just curious as to why do most girls want to take so long to make things official

dating isn't a victimless activity - if you are serious - you are going to give birth or be a father and husband one day - and the progressive stages of getting there have to be performed with caution to avoid heart break or bad planning - like if you have 4 kids and no high paying job - your life will be very very bad cause you won't have the funds for a positive existence - maybe its fine with one wife but if their are 2-4 different baby mamas - you will struggle and struggle and struggle for 18 - 20 years or more - sex and dating come with huge consequences - which is one of many reasons people say - at young ages - you should not be dating at all

Well I wouldn't say young people shouldn't date because then how do you get experience of dating. Have you seen the men that never dated, now they're total creeps because they have no idea how to interact with a girl. But I get what you mean because we teens do make unreasonable decisions

It's not the same for every guy and girl. I get what you mean though, it's likely because the individual girl herself may have gone through a past relationship and/or is scared of going too fast and ruining the relationship. She still loves you, she just wants the best for the relationship and taking things fast might be overwhelming.
