Have you asked her out? Hanging out is very ambiguous, so if you like her, ask her on a proper date. Hanging out is okay if you are after her friendship only. Guys who want to be treated as potential dates act as such.

Re texting, have you also texted her first at times? When a guy is only texting me and isn't showing any interest beyond that, then I will follow his lead. So if you wan't the girl to do more than text you, show some initiative. Showing interest to me means saying "I like you" or "Let's do something".

I directly said “I like you” and multiple Times I told her let’s do something or hang out and she hasn’t agreed to it. She finally told me she isn’t interested in me that way so I’m certain that is the reason she only wants to text. Most of the time she is the one initiating contact which is why I’m confused. Friends hang out and she isn’t interested in doing that so I don’t know what is her intentions

Right, if you have told her that you like her multiple times and she has indeed said that she isn't interested in you in that way, then it's time to move on. You can firmly tell her that you aren't interested in texting with her any more and then let her go.

If she doesn’t respond in a timely manner and has no reason for it (like they can care less to tell you why type attitude). Makes excuses to not hang out or talk to you often. Doesn’t really put effort into doing anything sweet for you. Red flags for sure but also depends how close you guys are

Well we don’t hang out at all and I known her for 3 years. That doesn’t say everything but that says a lot. Sometimes she reaches out to me a lot and sometimes I could go weeks with no contact. That tells me whenever her other options aren’t available she comes to me because I always answer my text. Also the fact that we don’t hang out and she only wants to text shows me she isn’t interested in me at all whether that is a relationship or friend. She just wants the attention. I’m just convenient for her

Well you definitely know the answer! I wouldn’t hold my breath and do your own thing with your own girl. If she text you and you want to respond, you can. But don’t let her lead you on or stop you from pursuing another girl bc a text from her, ya know?

Absolutely. I ended whatever we had because what is the point? I’m getting nothing out of this but headaches. Sometimes you get tired of someone playing games with you
