So me and my friend were actually wondering about this during a random drunk discussion. But what does it usually mean if a girl is suddenly dry and short when messaging/calling?

So for example, he said after 3 months of dating. Suddenly one day she became really dry and short with him for about 3 days in a row.

We came to the conclusion that maybe the girl is losing feelings or she's going through a tough time and just needs alone time, but what are some of y'all opinions?

As a woman and had many partners (I’m 39).. I know I’ve done this. Firstly it’s wrong and I apologise... but I did it because there was someone else I was more interested in, and instead of telling the guy... I’d keep them there as didn’t want to tell them I liked another guy because I didn’t want to hurt their feelings. And I suppose ultimately I loved the attention still! It was when I was in my 20’s a case of ‘I wanted my cake and I wanted more cake!’
If you’re asking because it’s happening to you... the girl definitely likes you... but it is just friendship (for now)
I’m not sure how old you or her are... but there’s a lot of experiences needed!
The main thing... she does like you! But perhaps not the way you would hope - at the moment

From my experience as a girl, I did this to my boyfriend when I was upset with him but I learned it’s better to communicate. She could have also lost interest or found out something about him that turned her off.
