My family says that I dress like a hooker, do I really dress like one?

Question

So my family for some reason bashes me for my choice in clothing. I like to wear mini skirts and crop tops and bodycon dresses. Anything tight fitting is my venue to go to. My favorite outfit is this cute rutched crop top and skirt and I wear it a lot. I also wear a lot of high heels. Most of my pumps are either 6 inches or 7.5 or even 8 inch. I'm proud that I'm able to wear heels that tall. My family bashes me about it. They say that I dress like a hooker. Do I really dress like a hooker? Please help me out. I'm frustrated and upset that I got called a hooker.

and yea you do look like one. I'm sorry but you do. the color is too flashy, the outfit shows too much skin, too tight and those heels... they're really fucking huge (cute though). I'd say tone it down. like big time. you can wear what you want, just make it look less slutty and make it look good on your body. try to find bodycons that work you know.

Errrr... not wanting to be cruel or mean... but on the other hand you did ask for an honest opinion... I think hooker is a strong word, but like a stripper/glamour model (porn), yes. Nothing wrong with that - that's totally your call. Depends where you go out though. If you're going clubbing etc in one of the BIG cities (London, NY, Tokyo, Berlin) then you look under dressed, but for a normal busy Friday/Saturday night bar, pub or club, then you could maybe dial it down a bit?

While you have every right to dress how you want on your own time society has declared some things only appropriate for sex workers. Still that doesn't give them a valid excuse to insult you or behave rudely. personally I love hooker boots and mini skirts with stocking, crop tops all that shit. maybe cut back on how often you dress that way. And no matter how sexy heels are they can be a hazard
