So we work together in a store. I fully believe he has a crush on me too but we’ve hardly ever spoken. But we’ve had a couple light conversations when he orders a food or a drink at my counter. Today he was cleaning around my area and I tried SO hard to initiate a convo first. I never had. So I said how’s your night. But I said it really softly and he didn’t hear at first but then he looked up and did, and was like oh! And then kinda babbled on for a bit and I couldn’t hear all he said, so I didn’t say anything back, and he continued to say more about the heat/his night, and then I asked him it he wanted anything from where I work and he thought about it but said he shouldn’t because it’s late and he needs to sleep (he usually gets coffee). Then he said sorry he couldn’t be a customer for me tonight or something and I just laughed and said ok. And that was it.
