Why did WWE have kiss my foot matches for Girls?

Like the loser had to basically eat the others foot I noticed this happend a couple of times when I've seen old wrestling from the late 90s early 2000s why was this?

It was part of the Script for the loser to kiss the feet and back then the WWE female Wrestlers were known as Divas but they did away with the name and brought back the name for them would be WWE Women's Wrestlers, They do show more WWE Women's matches now and I think that is awesome and there is a lot of rookies joining WWE and their making good names for themselves.. Domnick Mysterio has joined and most likely he will be replacing his Father, Rey Mysterio who is in semi-retirement and will eventually go into the WWE Hall Of Fame :)

I grew up watching this but this is new to me. I guess they wanted to add a sex appeal to the women's matches. There also used to be a bra and panties match. But now its changed for the better even if its just for entertainment.
