Ex Dumped me, avoids me in public and ignores my text/calls but not blocked me?

Ex Dumped me, avoids me in public and ignores my text/calls but they have not blocked my phone number, whatsapp, facebook etc.

I can see everything going on and phone/text them etc (which I have not done) and it has been a month since they ghosted me and treat me like a stranger if we bump into each other in public, posting nasty things about me online to p*ss me off and hurt me.

I have just blocked them everywhere as it feels a bit weird and I don't want a ghoster coming back, the negative comments seem a bit weird, I am certain they have been done recently to make me leave as I was calling/texting a little to try and fix the problem.

Why would you be so adamant not to have anything to do with someone, yet leave all the avenues for communication open? If you want someone gone from your life why not block them as well which kind of sends a very clear message GO AWAY, is she just wanting attention from me such as calls/txts of me pining to boost her ego etc or is she hoping in a few months once things simmer down we can be platonic friends so she does not want to block me?

We do see each other maybe once or twice weekly in the park
