Well, let me tell you that here on G@G, I came across a huge number of guys with that psychological problem yet it does not come to my mind to label men in general as narcisstic.

Perhaps you made one or two bad experiences but once you are on G@G long enough, you will realize that guys are panicked at the size of their penis because the infamous penis size question is by far the most asked question.

Would it be justify me to say that

"Why men are so worried about their penis"?

The last 40 years society has been telling women that they are all somehow special, because they were born a certain way. Not equal, but more than equal. Now you have women who are 5'2" and 180 lbs. demanding 'high value men' making 6 figures and supporting the whole thing, because they've been told that's what they are entitled to, while making their own careers and making their mark on the world at the same time and no one gets to make demands on them. I think your missing the point. We're not talking about clinically defined narcissism. We are talking about why many, many women appear so selfish and walk around with an inflated self worth. We're talking about the kind of women who have 2 kinds with 2 fathers is 5'2" weighs 180 lbs and thinks that most men are below them. It's a cultural phenomenon. It's not all women, it's not even most women, but it's a hell of a lot of women.

I was speaking colloquially , I was pretty sure I made that clear. Modern women are getting divorced at a much faster rate than ever before and are getting married at a rate much lower than before. 80% of women initiate divorces for the promise of greener pastures that don't necessarily exist. The question is who changed? According to statistics, men have changed very little since 1940 and weigh on average 8 lbs. more than their 1940 counter parts while women have gained on average over 30 lbs.
There are a whole bunch of organizations, federally funded for women promoting women's rights while there are virtually none promoting the rights of men.
If you want to rest on the fact that men have been clinically diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder than men that's fine. If you want to get into very technical definitions, no problem you will be held to the same standard. And perhaps the OP could have used a better term like 'selfish' rather than narcissistic. Yes, that is a technically incorrect term. But that doesn't change the fact that given the trends we are seeing in marriage and relationships, and that women have changed much more than men over the same period of time. And all these trends match the rise of feminism and neo-feminism. I reckon your going to have a hard time proving that men are the problem when men haven't changed all that much, but women have changed a lot and yes, many of them, not all are much more selfish than they used to be.
Women say it all the time. They don't need men. That's fine, they won't have to contend with men, won't be around except for the liberated sexual experience and go on their merry way. The fact is that modern women really don't have much value to men outside of sex. That's why men are no longer choosing to marry. Why would they get married when it's all a losing proposition?

If you happen to have marriage prospects banging down your door, congratulations you the exception not the rule.

Are you referring to the diagnosis of Narcissistic Personality disorder prevalence among genders falsely claiming that women suffer from the disease more than men, or were you referring to 'narcissism' colloquially as a synonym for 'selfishness'?

Well I think there is a better way of phrasing that question. Sometimes girls are narcissistic because they have crippling self esteem and get a confidence high from building themselves up to an extreme level. But that doesn't mean all girls are. That would be the same as me assuming that all men are horny douchebags because those are the only men I've seen

What you are probably referring to is women on social media. Whilst I personally hate posting pictures of myself, I think the ones that do say a lot about society. Girls grow up with people placing a huge emphasis on looks, whether we acknowledge it or not it's there. They begin to belief this equates to their worth. Thus, they seek to validate themselves by trying to get attention that would suggest that yes, they are attractive. Often these people actually have self-esteem issues.

But lets not just blame the girls here. There are a lot of super horned up and pathetic men who love commenting on these photos and also place a huge emphasis on a woman's looks, which leads to behaviors you would deem 'narcissistic'.

Magazines and movies tell them that they have power/worth if they are beautiful. It's a marketing scheme to get them to buy stuff to make them more beautiful. Because they spent a lot of time on making themselves beautiful, they will admire themselves.

We can't judge a person unless we walk on his/her shoes. Each girl has her own past, her own insecurities that eventually leads her to have such behavior. So, let's show them some appreciation and kindness. Of you think that one of your female friends has extreme 'narcissistic' behavior, then inform it to her directly. Let's look at the very basic reproductive of function of men and women. The women's role is to TAKE the man's seed and the man's role is to GIVE woman his seed.
