Why does my friend set me up with unattractive men?

I'm 5'6 125 pounds and I have long hair. The other day my friend lied to me and said the guy she was setting me up with was a guy who's 6'5, thin, and plays soccer. When I meet him, he was 5'8 close to 200 pounds and not very attractive. He had a big nose. yellow teeth, and greasy hair. When I told her I didn't like him and the type of men I do like she got angry, and starting yelling at me which is weird because she's the one who lied to me. Like why would she lie and set me up with someone who I thought was unattractive?

I have one friend who wants to set me up and I talked to her about it. She does not think much about the guy being anyone I fit with, and she even admits she does not think they are attractive. Only reason she gives for a match is that we are both nice people. Nothing else in common. She kinda seems desperate for me to get someone, so we can do double dates and so xD.

Let me guess when your friend told you about a 6'3 soccer player your legs got wet and you instantly agreed to the date.

When you got to the date did you even e have with the guy. Maybe he had good qualities you blinded yourself to because all you noticed was his physical traits.
