this guy I like at work I thought liked me; he grinned madly every time he saw me, was keen to chat music on emails etc, I caught him staring at me, he wanted to know if he'd see me at work. I did make the 1st step of talking to him tho when he was smiling at me in the kifts, and it went from there.after 2 weeks of this I asked him if he fancied grabbing a drink as we were having social work drinks and had been chatting. he looked overwhelmed and said not tonight but there is a pub up the road we could go to another time, then made his excuses and ran off. I sat there embarassed. I've seen him at work and he still grins shyly at me and has stared at me, which I took to meaning he thinks I am nuts. he hasn't emailed me since.i've felt awful being rejected, really embarassed. did I imagine everything or was he just friendly? he is defintely shy and I am a cheery extrovert.thanks.

Shy guy talking to me on emails again said he even wondered where I was when I was when I was off sick. Really no idea about him at all, but have yet to meet any men who just want to be friends unless they are married.
