Well, I just got into a baseball team, I'll be playing 1B, and my coach told me “don't forget to bring in the cup”, tbh I feel uncomfortable about it, and it's about what my girlfriend could think about me. During school, I was a part of the swimming team, and I did pretty good, so she has the idea of me being a good athlete and being tough, and I don't want her to believe I'm a wimp, weak or not tough for wearing a cup.

Wear the cup. You need it. Women wear things guys don't, and guys wear things women don't. And you said you feel uncomfortable about wearing a cup. Compare that to being uncomfortable when a baseball hits your balls, and your are laying on the ground in pain.

There's a lot of baseball where I grew up, from Little League's enthusiasm up to the professional leagues, some of the things I've seen are broken eye sockets, cracked skulls, instant concussions, as for the lack of wearing a cup... one bad hit with a baseball, and your nuts can end up the size of a softball... and lots of teeth gone.
