Question

If you know your gonna be wrong in your mind and put another answer anyway please stay away don't get defensive...
A man who won't date a woman based off of her weight?
A woman that won't date a man based off his height?
Men or women CAN change weight with many videos, gyms, running etc...
Men or women CANNOT change height naturally.
Just because a man is shorter than you doesn't mean he didn't start learning how to fight at an early age. Same goes for a shorter woman vs tall guy

Women will obviously say men, men will obviously say women. As a man, I'll most likely say women because why would I say my own gender is more shallow when i'm a part of it. Women are more likely to want more in a guy and often have a literal list of traits or requirements a guy must have. Often times its much harder for a guy to meet these. But most guys would literally just see tits on a girl and be fine with it. Or even a nice butt. Or just a woman that is nice. For women, the guy basically has to have a nice salary even if she's a CEO of a company it doesn't even matter. She could be rich AF but the guy still has to have a nice salary because he's supposed to. One of the biggest and most shallow dealbreakers women have, height. I cannot even fathom how much the tall guy requirement is basically not even a meme at this point, its completely legit. You have some women that are basically so tiny that you would think they would have no height requirements, but all of a sudden they can be like "No guys under 6'1."

A huge WTF moment. So just for the very fact that some women have this height BS makes them more shallow because height is the only trait that you literally can't even change and everything else you can. Also, most women have the power to basically reject any guy they want to. They could match with 100 men, but they have the choice of literally picking who they want to talk to and go for. Men don't at all. Men have to put in much more effort into approaching a woman and getting noticed, women don't even have to. On average, more women reject men than men reject women. So yes, women are definitely the more shallow ones.

it goes in both directions with the genders, I tried the online dating which was a disaster, the whole height thing-I heard guys say all the time or ask do you have a height standard? when I first heard it I was like no. but those same guys saying woman were not talking to them due to being short, had on their profiles wanted a gorgeous woman with thin frame, wears heels, long blonde hair etc. I even had a very overweight guy saying he did not wanna date fat cows on the site he messaged me cause I was active in my pics. like WTF? Like um bro do you have a mirror? Personally I go by what we have in common I am a personality person but ehh people are so odd these days seems like a lot want way more then they have to offer back to be honest

I honestly think women are, if you see the how do i look section on this app and look at how many guys go crazy for girls who are most likely below average.

on the other hand,

women won't date a short dude because they don't feel safe

they won't date skinny guys because they dont feel safe

They subconsciously don't date good guys because truly they don't make them safe.

I'M NOT SAYING THAT GIRLS ARE BAD BUT GOD MADE THEM SHALLOW BECAUSE THEY WANT TO PRODUCE OFF SPRING

That's a difficult question to quantify objectively. This was posted in the girl's behavior category, so it appears the assumptions in the OP skews toward the answer being girls.
My assessment is that men and women have different attributes; some of which are shallow and some not. This means the more shallow traits are just different and not necessarily more or less.

I don’t think that weight vs height makes anyone more shallow. Maybe if you were to make an argument for fairness, but that’s not what shallow means. They’re both trivial physical features.

And some people have already said this, but men and women both have the capacity to be extremely shallow. Personally I’m aware of more women than men who are willing to overlook unattractive features if a person has other redeeming qualities, like intelligence, kindness, or ambition. But that might just be the people that I surround myself with.

However, I think that examining the weight put on physical features as a whole, and comparing it to that put on non physical features as a whole, is a better measure for shallowness than comparing which physical features people put weight on when they put weight on them at all.

I think women are more visual due to biological reasons. Look at animals and their behaviour. Why should that be different for humans. But does it matter? I think average looking men in my country are attractive to me. I care mostly about his personality, values, virginity, age and looks to an extent. Both men and women care about looks. Being overweight is also not really a big deal to me since you can loose weight. So I would choose a tall overweight man over short fit man.

Men are willing to sleep with a lot of woman but when it comes to marrying I think they are less willing to devote their energy to the girl but many times they do. Woman are more selective about who they sleep with but less selective about a guys flaws whether physical or moral but they are usually highly picky about Intelligence and life skills, while men will date a stupid girl if she is pretty.

Both are and can be shallow. Everyone says men care more about looks, but a lot of my friends only date people as attractive as they are and they are girls. Also, I would not have dated my boyfriend if he wasn’t physically attractive to me. I think it’s partly a myth that women don’t go for looks.

Sadly, the depth comes from suffering - something not to aim for.
