Men requirements for a girl to be in relationship with him:

 

1. Be loyal
2. Be kind and show love towards him
3. Don't be a bitch or crazy
4. Be attractive (to him at least)
5. Don't be fat (Just requires self control).

vs

Women's requirement for a man to be in relationship with her:

 

1. Make more money than her.
2. Be popular or of high social status.
3. If 1) or 2) are lacking then you must be better looking (nice face~Genetic) than her
4. Must have nice car, house, and any other material possesion you can fathom to show your wealth
5. Must dress nice and have nice clothes.
6. Must be certain height and race (genetic).

I'm sure there are exception but this generally holds true for most women/men expectations for each other.

Your women's requirements are wrong.

1-It's actually make good money, so you can support a family. Well off women aren't retarded, they get that they can't expect wealthy men.

2 - Total bullshit. The criteria is: have social skill.
You need it to maintain a romantic relationship. If a guy has no social skill to maintain decent social standing, he doesn't have it to maintain a good relationship. Or if he can keep the relationship, he'll be a doormat she will never want to fuck. Women may not know this consciously, but they can always see it. "Social losers" are guys who are a total turn off when dating.

3. If 1) or 2) are lacking then you must be better looking (nice face~Genetic) than her
3 - Some girls are willing to trade this off for looks, I'm not. In casual dating, look who-I've-got-arm-candy style, women will take these guys. But in a real relationship, they're most likely getting dumped.

4. Must have nice car, house, and any other material possesion you can fathom to show your wealth
4 - ONLY if you're looking for a gold digger. Normal women will be attracted to this because it shows you're capable, but won't require it to date you. If it's required that that means she doesn't care about building a life with you, she wants to use you based on what you can provide as soon as possible and a lot of.

5. Must dress nice and have nice clothes.
5 - This is not a female standard. It's male as well. And when guys say they don't care, they're so full of shit. Reality and plain observation of it confirms this. So this is a non-point.

6. Must be certain height and race (genetic).
Height yes, but that falls in the looks department and is calculated in there. Race depends on the girl, both men and women can have, or not have racial preferences, so this is not a female criteria at all. Your Nmb. 6 is also a non-point.

Also you forgot:
Character. Can I trust this man with my life? Is he a quality person who won't betray me, hurt me, fail me? (in the male list this is shown by points of: be loyal and be nice) For us, it's... Is he honorable?

Put down the remote, step away from the TV, and go to something with culture. An art gallery or a car show. Stop hanging out in the clubs.
Talk to a woman with a book in her lap or purse. Speak to one looking at a picture on a wall or snapping a photograph of the horizon.

Men and women are as shallow as each other overall but generally in different ways. It's as simple as that. Your average man's expectation of women list is okay but you certainly exaggerated the average woman's expectation of men and I think you know that. The only one I agree with on that list is #6, women do think about a man's height and race (race is usually due to family pressure I would say which men also feel). At the same time, I hear many men saying they prefer women shorter than them too, so it kinda evens out in a lot of cases except when the short girls expect very tall men.

Thing is, sometimes people expect something they don't deliver BUT they may make up for it in another form. My cousin married a rich man, but she is also very, very beautiful and younger compared to him and so both of them are extremely happy. Would I go for that? No. But a bitter man may look at her as a gold digger and a bitter woman might look at her as a trophy wife to him. I don't see the point of being a bitter outsider, if the couple is happy then I am happy for them.

Its not necessarily what women say that makes them shallow, but rather what they dont say.

Exhibit A:

Her:"Your a really great guy but I dont see you as more then a friend"
Guy: "Why dont you like me?"
Her: "I do like you, just as a friend"- basically meaning you aren't outgoing enough, or confident enough, you aren't funny enough, you aren't smart enough, you aren't handsome enough. She is basically saying you aren't good enough for her but without actually saying that.

I could go on but as you can see from these two exhibits without saying anything mean they basically tell you that you suck and aren't good enough. When guys shut down a girl more often then not its more straightforward, and the girl can at least get an idea of why she is getting shutdown, for us guys we never know why we are getting shutdown, we just know that we aren't good enough and so that sends our minds on a journey to try and discover why we aren't good enough. Is it shallow things that make us not good enough? Probably, although maybe not, but since girls never tell us we assume it is. Therefore women are more shallow, they dont know why, or dont tell why, they are shutting guys down and so to us guys its always for a shallow reason.

I've heard tons of girls say that while the guy isn't good looking, he's got a great personality. Also, girls don't need the guy to make more than them. It's hard to say, since if you look at both extremes in both genders, they both are shallow.

I voted for men. I have seen more guys go after the hot girl, and dump their nice girlfriend for someone "hotter" before. Even when I asked my male friends to quickly answer, they said men.

The important thing to know is not everyone is like this. There might be a man or woman that likes the other person for their good characteristics, not just how physically attractive they are. Women can be really shallow, and they always have some sort of BS explanation to back up what ever they say to you. I would go for women in general. Guys are douchebags sometimes but not shallow.

It's actually not uncommon to see a large woman with a skinny man but how often do you see the opposite? Women are quite happy propose there own standards but the moment you suggest she lose weight or wear less makeup the internet explodes.

In my entire life I've never met a woman who expects a man to have a nice car, house, be of a high social status, make more money, etc. That's my experience. Of course women have height/race/style of dress preferences. You can't really divide who's most shallow by gender, that's a gross generalization.

Men are! Women compromise men's bad behavior even if he's not cute or hot. Plus we mostly choose personality 	he way he makes us feel>body size > physical attractiveness
