Even if she doesn't live here she has to follow every rule I make up or she doesn't get to see her siblings.
Like she had to use a bulky car seat because I said so. They can't pick out what they want at the restaurant even if she is paying because I said so.
She is ruining our marriage because she doesn't want to follow my rules my husband also hates my rules. and didn't like it when I tried to keep him and the kids in the house all day by pretending I had plans so they know whose in charge.

Try asking her how she feels. What she would like. Sit diwn and make a list of what she would like and you make a list of what you would like and calmly compromise like two girlfriends.

Don't push away the best friend in the world you will ever have.

I too had this toxic way of dealing with my child. I have started listening to her instead of talking at her and yelling at her.

Understand the why of behaviour. Acknowledge that she has a right to her feelings but not to violent or disrespectful behaviour.
