My niece is 15 years old. Her mother (my sister) never really connected with her. When my niece was born my sister didn't want to hold her it's like she was disgusted by her. My sister has 4 kids Total... my niece (only girl) is the second oldest. She abandoned her when she was 1. So there relationship is not good. My sister is more concerned about keeping a man than working on the relationship with her kids. So two days ago my sister asked my niece where she put her house key and my niece said she lost it. My niece didn't say anything wrong. Her mother jumped on her and started punching her and my other sister jumped in and started swinging on my niece. And Im shocked and embarrassed... I'm trying to break it up... my husband and my sister boyfriend broke it up. I said what I had to say... now both sister's are not talking to me. And I'm ok with that. I feel bad for my niece. I already have a baby on the way... should I get custody of my niece?

Yes get custody of your niece because she is an abusive home if wouldn't be surprised if there is neglecting domestic violence and everything else to that as well

You should get custody of your neice definitely! My mother and sister treated me very similar and my uncle adopted me. You have to protect your neice!
