My mother passed passed away last week and I am absolutely heartbroken! She died from a deadly lung cancer. It was stage four cancer. She was only 53. Damn it! I’m already getting insensitive comments. One said, “What did you expect? She had stage four cancer! She was going to die anyways. People die and it’s part of life.”
One guy said, “Dude your mom is dead! Get over yourself. Why are you crying when we all know that we don’t live FOREVER? She isn’t coming back so deal with living knowing your mom is dead.”
Anotger, “Dude sorry about your mom, but we have to focus on our work. We have our own problems to deal with and we’re allowed to laugh and have fun. If you’re going to cry or be moody, go outside!”
Also this one really pissed me off the most. My so called best friend was super insensitive to me yesterday along with my two other friends. She took me out to get my mind off of things. We went to the movies, we had lunch and went to the park. She said, “That’s it!!! I have had it with you being so moody and depressed! Why do you still look sad? I took you out to get your mind off of things and have some fun and you’re ruining it by dragging us down! If you’re going to act like that, stay home! I didn’t make you come! YOUR MOTHER IS DEAD!!! You don’t have a mom anymore! Get used to it! I’m glad she died because she doesn’t have to see a depressed, selfish and homely daughter! PUT YOUR BIG GIRL PANTS ON AND GET OVER IT ALREADY WILL YOU?” She shoved me hard and walked away. The two girls said they’re sorry but they can’t be around me, it’s uncomfortable and it’s a fun day.”
Let’s say I’m no longer friends with them. I cried after they abandoned me. It’s not fair that I only had my mom for 25 years and some people hadn’t heir moms for 30, 40, 50 or even 60 years! Her memorial is next Friday.😭😭💔💔
