Why does ex turn his head and avoid eye contact?

I broke up with this guy about 3 weeks ago because my son was having a hard time with me dating him. He's young and hasn't been around other guys besides his dad. I also wasn't ready for marriage and all that. Well I was on his FB page ( with his permission) because he hardly gets on there. He had a few friend requests and one of them had " Hey My Baby"...I didn't think anything of it and I accepted the request for him. A few days later the lady had a picture on her profile with him and her. She also sent a message to my ex's daughter telling her that she was dating her dad and hoped to meet her soon. Well I sent him a text to tell him good luck and that I felt that I was invading his privacy on FB so I wasn't going to go on his anymore. The only reason I was on there was to play a couple of games that he and I played. He sent me a text back that said he wasn't seeing anyone...why would I even think that? I had to laugh and told him what I saw on there. He then called me a liar and said the reason I broke up with him is because I was seeing someone. I haven't dated anyone since we broke up and I told him that just because he got busted for telling lies not to blame me. We work together but different shifts...every time I walk past him he will drop his head and not even look at me. I just want to know why he does that?

Sounds like he's too proud to face the music! The right thing for him to do would be to apologize for lying, explain himself and then move right along. Instead of that he's alleviating his guilt by putting you on the same moral plane by accusing you of lying. Sounds like he has a lot of work to do! It doesn't sound like he has done anything very wrong though so just give him time and hopefully he will get over his guilt.

Honestly, it sounds like he feels pretty guilty. Or maybe he's worried that if he looks at you, you'll try to make conversation and bust him.
