Then she comes back a day later, after you quit your job. Because you couldn’t find anyone to watch your kid.

(not that you asked her to come back. She just randomly shows up.)

If she didn't have a good reason, I'd make a big deal out of it & probably get the law involved. At that point, she's not my girlfriend anymore. I wouldn't date anyone so careless.

Considering the kid is a toddler, I'd dump her ass and report her to social services along with the police... I've done that for a lesser offence than that AND had women put in prison for less
