Why do single mothers have such poor judgement in guys?

I'm a man who holds people accountable for their actions and judge people based on their character. I don't just stick my cock into any girl who opens her legs to me and trust me there have been a few dirty traps.

I often wonder why women choose to open their legs to very questionable men and pop out a baby. Then having the man leave the women high and dry to raise the baby alone as a single mother. Did it ever occur to women that you are perhaps your own worst enemy? If a man talks and talks but all you want to hear is some Disney fairytale of being married and loved etc... That's great and all but you don't give children to men who can't walk the walk.

There is no such things as accidents because in this world if you don't plan for a kid without having a dedicated man by your side then you are just setting yourself up for hard times for you and your new found baby. I mean it's life long dream for girls to play with their own real baby doll. I can't help but pity women who make wrong choices and always depend on their shity low life thug boy friends who don't have jobs to help raise a baby. It's easier for him to run leaving the girl wondering "I thought he loved me!!!", "He told me everything i wanted to hear!".

My mom is a single mother to me and my brother. We have different dads. My mom and my brothers dad were together for a few years before my brother was born, he took me in and treated me like his own daughter. He was amazing, gave me 100 dollars for my 16th birthday. They got engaged, he asked me if he could adopt me so I could take his last name. Then my mom got pregnant, he wanted a kid. But during her pregnancy his distanced himself, became less involved, didn’t go to any of her appointments, he only attended the birth but then didn’t show up to have his name but on his birth certificate. When we would be home and my mom needed help with house hold chores he would sit on the sofa drinking alcohol, he didn’t look after the newborn when my mom had to work around the house he just sat there and would hand my brother to me, I was 17 and pretty much had to step in to do his job. He’d hold him for a few minutes then give him to me, he’d feed him for a few seconds then give him to me to continue feeding him, wouldn’t change his diapers and almost scolded him by putting him in boiling hot bath water because he didn’t want to check the temperature. He was never like that before, he was much more caring and involved. My point is, people change. It’s not the case of women choosing shitty men, although yeah that does happen. But it’s also the case that people can change a few years into the relationship.

He was a great man for a few years before any of this, my grandparents loved him, he was very involved with my family and my cousins, would take me and my friend to concerts because my mom couldn’t drive too far. He was pretty much the dad I never got to grow up with and everything a child could’ve asked for but then just like that after a few years he changed. It’s been 5 years now and we haven’t heard a word from him, he doesn’t want anything to do with my brother and hasn’t seen him since he was a baby.

No. Because no man forces a women to open her legs and calls it a relationship. Second women should be a better judge of character for when they choose to open their legs and bear the costs of what may come of having sex. She fucked a low life man but he was good looking and now he ran off with another woman leaving his previouse girlfriend with a baby. Should she have had better foresight to see past his good looks?

From what I have seen over years it's the old saying that Nice Guys Finish Last. Nice guys who treat girls right aren't appealing, simply put. They're not fun, they're not alphas, they don't get them all hot and bothered.

What they do want is that bad boy, the one that's rough around the edges, that they hope they can tame to settle down. The problem is a number of guys like that (especially of certain demographs) have abandonment issues of their own and won't stick around because that's what was ingrained into them. So it turns into a vicious cycle.

It basically boils down to an inability to make smart decisions, having poor judge of character, and poor life choices that leads to what we see. A lot of times if they insisted on simply making sure he wrapped it before the tapped it, than they could (mostly) avoid these things. However they either don't think about it (caught up in the moment) or get talked into going without which leads to the road of single parenthood.
