I don't.
What Guys Said
Well, while single moms' individual situations may vary somewhat, they have a lot of big disadvantages. To give a relatively innocuous example, one I met and was willing to get to know never could find time to actually meet up- her daughter had activities all the time. Why wait around for that when there are women ready to meet up?
There always seems to be some drama and chaos surrounding single moms. They aren't over their ex, they have baby daddy issues, financial problems, their kids have issues, etc. They are not dateable. There's nothing wrong with focusing on your kids (a mom should so that), but don't waste guys' time pretending you want to date when you aren't in position to do so. And don't get me started on the ones that want you to support them and their kid (s). So unless their kids are grown up and completely taking care of themselves, single moms are a hard pass.
Because the manner in which the woman had the kids, she probably chased after bad guys or alpha guys (whatever people want to call them) or went with guys off of looks. It is also to much hassle, we will enter a relationship where we will never be put first. I see it all over POF, single mums making a point of saying their kids come first and always will do.
Also what if the father is on the scene, what if the kid misbehaves, we would always be undermined, and why should we pay to help bring up somebody else kid.
And on your comment about judging, women judge men too quickly, or too harshly such as based on looks or disability. In fact women judge men in general too harsly
Because being a stepfather is a bad deal we get all the responsibilities with none of the authority and respect
not to mention becoming emotionally attached to a child that you have no rights to
plus if you are a woman with another man’s child you will never be able to put us first because your child will always come first
I’ve tried dating single moms and it does not work cus I’m not allowed to discipline the child as my own
also single mothers have babies with crazy weirdo loser beta males who will cause problems in our relationship
I truly pity single mothers because you won’t be able to seriously date again until your child is an adult
my advice to single mothers is to get back together with the father because it’s what’s best for the child
It's less about judging and more about not wanting to deal with certain things... like scheduling around their kid or dealing with their kid at all. That, and it's hard to consider they have great judgement when they get pregnant by someone who doesn't want to be in the picture or with someone they aren't committed to.
It's not about the money or liking them, you do what you're doing cause they are you're real kids while in reality these kids aren't his...
I respect single mom and i do love kids but no matter how much i like her kids i still can't consider myself related to them because i'm not their real father...I always liked single moms because you could always depend on them being mature for their age. Having a son or daughter makes you that way real quick, when your not the only one you have to think about.
You answered your question with your first word. GUYS. Men love single moms and respect the hell out of them.
When are women going to figure it out.
Guys and men are not the same species.
Stop wasting your time on guys.
1. They would rather not deal with another man's child.
2. They know that they will have to compete with the child for attention in the dating stage and that is never good for the child.
3. Depending on how the mother became single, it will very likely end the same way. I doubt this matters if you are a widow though.
Has nothing to do with judging, I just don't want to have to deal with the babysitters etc that come with dating someone with kids.
There are guys that can step into the role and there are others that cannot and those are the ones you should avoid
