Why would a female co-worker be shy with me for no reason?

She use to act completely normal around me. But for some reason she seems nervous/shy with me. However, she seems happy when she sees me and calls out my name and waves. She doesn't do it with anyone else at work.

So how can be shy if she waves and calls your name and she doesn't do this wid anyone? Maybe she likes you as an person but still very early to say. Just focus on her signs , that she gives to you. And her eyes coz eyes don't say lie at all.

She seems to play with the collar of her shirt everytime she talks to me. Her eyes widen when she hears my name in conversation and when she sees me. For some reason we like avoid each other until one of us breaks the ice. We've known each other for a while too. But she seems to get tongue tied around me

Hmm... so at least you talk wid each other... so you might be getting a right idea... why you avoid each other?

I'm not sure why we do given we know each other. I do it cause I'm nervous. But then once one of us breaks the ice then the nerves go away.

That's what a chatting can do... So what u observed till now like how she behaves in front of you? Like how she act in front of you when you are not talking... to each other?

When I talk to her she seems happy and she is giving me all her attention. She is looking right into my eyes. She seems to get nervous towards me. Everytime we talk she plays with the collar on her shirt or lightly stratches the side of her neck
