Was she using me? What should I do with her?

There was a girl who I was talking to for like six months nothing official to be honest but we kept talking and texting for hours and we keep send each other’s gifts and she keeps sending me love emoji so I thought she is onto me. And I want to tell how I feel soon. Everything was perfect until the beginning of December she started ghosting me and replying with one word only and not answering my calls. so I did the same and stoped every interaction with her. after two weeks she sends me that she missed me and asked how was my day and the next day she called me and talked about multiple things. I said ok maybe she need someone to talk to but I was not the same. I felt like something was broken and I had feeling that she was talking to other guys.
After one week she texted me that she is depressed and sad and asked if I could call her so I did. when she heard my voice she started crying like crazy and to be honest I was bit shocked why she is crying so hard after I calm her down she told that there is guy that she was working with is interested in her and told her that’s he like her and wants her to be his girlfriend and they once go out and talked. at first I was shocked -what about us?- did I mean nothing to you and when she refused he went crazy and keeps calling her and texting her friends to convince her and what makes her cry is that he was swearing at her and threatening to hurt himself if she didn’t accept him and he loves her madly also he will do anything for her. After two hours of talking and telling her how strong and amazing you are she was calm down so I asked her to me give his address so I was going to kick his a$$ she replied “no he is a poor man” really after all he did!! she told me that she blocked him on everything but he keeps reaching her and calling her from different numbers however she promised not to talk to him
I don’t want to leave her now because she hurt but I feel something was broken. and my ego was hurt. was she using me

Should I move on and stop answering her calls?

I moved on and stopped texting her or answer with one word only. She keeps texting me and today she sends me that she is mad at me.
Really mad at me for talking to a guy for two months without even telling me and when you found out that he is a sicko you told about him.

Quick update
I tried to move on and I went no contact for two weeks she never stopped texting me and telling that she miss me so I replied to her text yesterday and we talked on phone for like two hours. However she insists to see me on Sunday and told me that she have never talked to someone that long without seeing him. I told her ok
Folks to be honest I want to move on I feel she has someone in her life I don’t to be her back up plan
I know I was late and coward for not asking her out.
Was she using me? What should I do with her?
