It depends what kind of constipation you're talking about. There's the "Oh shit, I haven't pooped in a few days" constipation. I'd rather have this type of constipation over having diarrhea.

Then there's the kind of constipation when you know you have to go poop, but it's just not coming out and that is the worst kind. It's so uncomfortable. I once sat on the toilet for 3 days straight, trying to get it to come out lol. It was terrible. I'd rather have diarrhea than have this type of constipation.

Constipation is the worst, it can last days and be nauseating. At least diarrhea is usually relatively quick. It can lead to some awkward situations though.
