Because males exist.
... no, just kidding... but sometimes... lol
Actually we have more issues amongst ourselves for many reasons, truth be told :)
Compatition
Because we use our brains while men dont
Give me your phone!
🤣🤣💀💀
You just out here dragging people lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’m dying
🤣 it's true... have you ever seen the movie with Mel Gibson when he was in the mind of a woman? Did you guys see how overwhelmed he was. He really wasn't used to thinking. Men really don't put much thought into thinking. They say, "hey I want a burger so I'll go to McDonald's". Us ," I want a burger but if I eat it I may gain like 10lbs. Omg I've been doing so good on my diet all week I can't just mess up! Well maybe one day won't hurt? Hmm well I have my pj's on so I really don't feel like driving out to get a burger. Well at least I won't get fat."
Expectations. I left the house I lived with female roommates and we worked together to keep the house clean and cook, etc. while doing school. Then I lived with male roommates and we each just took care of ourselves did our own cooking, cleaning, and laundry. Then I lived with my boyfriend and we did all chores together like a team. We got married and instantly no longer a team. These are your jobs, you do both of our laundry, clean our house and do all of the cooking and we both worked. Then I had children. They are also my job. If he helps I should say thanks. If I ask for help he calls me a feminist. I am struggling to get it all done and he judges and tells me how to do everything. When my sister comes to visit I feel like I have a partner again- I don’t ask her for help or her to me. We help each other get everything done that needs to be done.
So the biggest stress is trying to juggle work, taking care of house, children, husband, and finding time for yourself…because of the expectation that those things are my job only. I work after the children go to bed staying up very late. And I get up early to get my kid on the bus in the morning.
Lots of different reasons. Everyone deals with a different amount of stress, some more than others.
I can tell you a few general ones, that a TON of women of all ages stress out about;
1. Having a period/being hormonal is stressful as hell. It’s a rollercoaster ride.
2. People focus on women. They’re looked at and judged a lot. Our body, our looks, how we act. A lot of women are stressed about how they present themselves, because of judgement from others.
3. Women are more emotionally exhausted. Even when not on our periods, we are hormonal creatures… We carry a lot of emotions and it’s exhausting
4. School and work is stressful. Self explanatory.
1. Not having a safe place to live when we are on our way to be independent.
2. Parents expecting us to get married and have kids before 27.
3. Avoid having stalkers.
4. Not finding a loyal partner and forced to live alone. I can't stand flirts or polygamy.
5. Worried that what if we'll be treated like a sex toy in working environment in exchange to get promoted. Fear to make slow progress because other characterless bitch will already sell her body which will steal our deserved position.
Stress can come from a number of things.
1) Periods causing a hormonal roller coaster
2) Media telling us how we should look and how we should act
3) Misogyny in workplaces
4) The fact that we can’t walk alone at night without having to look over our shoulder and carry our keys between our knuckles or carry a self defence tool
5) Fear of being groped or assaulted in clubs, bars, anywhere really
6) The social pressure of having kids. The idea that a woman’s sole purpose is to pop a baby out. It’s as if other people only see us as baby making machines instead of human beings.
Ofcourse those may not apply to every woman, but a lot of women face those stresses in life.
Personally I get very stressed over my physical health. Chronic illness limits me on daily activities and work opportunities. But that isn’t a gender-based problem, it’s just what stresses me out most as an individual.
Not sure why number 3 turned into an emoji lol but oh well.
If one in six men where victims of rape or attempted rape, and you had to be constantly vigilant of predators, like keeping an eye on your drink at all time, and making sure that you always have something to defend your self you would probably be stressed out too.
Uncertainty.
From a guy looking at us a little too long, to feeling another girl is prettier, to your boyfriend saying, "I don't know," to important questions, it's that feeling of fear and doubt that plague us. High hormonal periods like PMS, pregnancy, menopause, or even unchecked mental illness can amplify those negative thoughts causing us to stress out over something that is minor, but a huge deal to us personally.
Best thing anyone can do when in a long-term relationship (non-abusive) is to talk it out with her and actively listen; at the end of the day we just want to laugh, be held, and be told everything will be okay. Too many guys roll their eyes, get frustrated, or give us space (aka avoiding an argument) not because they don't understand us, but because they don't even try to.
I don't think my stress is caused because i am a woman.
It's just my circumstances and life in general. I also have health issues which are not related to being a woman
Other than that, i am also a hardcore introvert. So being around people stress me out
We suffer under patriarchal pressures every day. Each day we are surrounded by men who see us as sex objects. Imagine if you were seen as a sex object by women around you every day. Imagine if every woman around you wanted your body all the time and can barely keep their hands off of you. All they want to do is have sex with you. They don't even care about your feelings or your thoughts. They just want your body.
Everybody stresses a lot; Guys have just been taught they aren't allowed to express it.
Get used to it, because you get to deal with us. 😈😇 Seriously, everyone has stress. You probably just notice it more in us because you notice girls and women more.
Yeah I’ve grown up with 3 sister and a single parent mom pretty much my whole life, until last year when my mom got married to my step dad. I’d say I’m a mommas boy really & truly, I’d always wanted to be around. I’ve never did any sports or really anything that could separate me from my mom, because I hated not being around her to make sure she was okay. So pretty much me growing up around all theses girls forced me to want to understand women more.
@jaylin_ I hate to break it to you, but you’ll never “understand women”. I’m a woman, and I don’t even understand myself!
@jaylin_ well, good luck. It’s a Quixotic effort though.
Because I want to reach atleats the important end goals of my life I stress out. Then again personally I have been a stressed out individual since a child so... yh.
Walk a day in a girl's shoes and then come report back to us in a bit.
In relationships we’re always worried about disloyalty now that porn and only fans are popular and girls post half naked pictures a lot. When we’re single we’re always worried about being able to find a healthy relationship.
Their hormones are at rush making them sensitive and stressed easily.
As first - not all females
As second - we don't know all reasons why they are stressed XD
Because you keep calling us females instead of WOMEN jfc
I didn't. Using women is polite. Female can refer to any mammal
PMS, working around the house while having a full time job, men, for some women there are still kids. We tend to be more perfeccionist and we take care of everyone. It's not a piece of cake.
I don't know about the others but I have anxiety so
You know the answer already.
Woman have twice as much to worry about as men.
Never ending reasons.
