So what is there to gain on TikTok by posting provocative videos? I’m not saying I have a problem with the teases but is there me money being made?

Ugh. I hate TikToks, I'm glad it's banned where I live. I never installed Tiktok but most of the videos that my friends would send me (before it got banned) or videos that are all Youtube are really cringey. Bunch of attention seeking people making very cringey/pretentious videos.

Oh and yes, they do get paid A LOT if they gain many subscribers and get many likes on their videos. I don't remember how many likes and subscriber's they need to earn, though.

Popularity and money. Also it's usually very young girls who do it and they do it for validation.
