How much effort does women put into dating apps?

I'm curious for different answers on this. Many women have told me they put very minimal effort then received loads of messages, views, matches, etc. They only put up pics with no description and got that lol.

Do you actually respond to guys having long good conversations? Or do you do the minimal 1-3 word responses? I understand having 99+ in your inbox makes giving long responses for some of them very time consuming. Also some women play the "chase me" game barely responding, so there's that too. There's also the type of people on dating apps that aren't really looking for anything but just bored checking out people swiping left/right.

I no longer use those apps and try only in person now. That minimal effort I constantly experienced from women on those things were one of the reasons why I gave up years ago. In person is far better anyways. Approaching a woman in person, you're basically already having a 1st date right then and there anyways.

I make a point of answering every message I get as long as they have actually read my profile and not just looked at my photos (there is a give away clause in my bio) I also message anyone I match with.

However, I don't match with guys who haven't bothered to write a bio or guys who added their Snapchat as it screams red flag, I also generally avoid guys who post photos where they are half naked as that's a heads up that they are too obsessed with their looks and I can't be arsed with a pretty boy.

As you have probably guessed I've not had much luck with dating sites, in the five years I've been single I've agreed to meet eight guys but only actually met four, two I canceled, one cancelled on me and the other stood me up. Out of the four I did meet they three of them were decent and gentlemen didn't try anything we just didn't match in person as much as we did online, the other I had to get the police involved after her turned stalkerish, I've not agreed to meet anyone since but I'll admit I've not been putithe effort in after soany failed attempts.
