Question

Do you think society will ever evolve to the point where women don’t have to feel the need to be with others when out at night having fun? That we can feel safe enough from possibly being preyed upon due to being alone at night? I've always wanted to go out on my own but whenever I try that anxiety and fear creeps in and suddenly I’m not to keen to go out anymore. I wish I didn’t have reason to feel this way.

yeah.. where I am from (Scandinavia) it is not a problem in society. Actually more men are assualted than women, though still low numbers compared to how many go out at night.

In the parts of US (where I live), it is quite common for women to be out at night by themselves. Not sure about other parts US or the world.
