Yes it's kinda thing that makes way more sense than just anybody having a gun or knife. Women been allowed to carry such things is a controlled way for them to protect themselves and Highly doubt there would be a sudden increase of women gone rogue just attacking people with pepper spray for no reason.
Unlike school shooters, robbers with knifes and guns etc.

Yes, but she should be properly trained how to use it. It is not as simple as spraying someone. You have to consider wind direction to make sure you do not spray yourself. A woman should have, at minimum, a blade and pepper spray.

I was once told to always carry a can of body spray with me. If someone attacks, you spray it in their eyes. Night not be pepper spray, but sure as hell gonna hurt.
