Nope... almost anything is permissible, in my opinion, if you are under serious threat and have to defend yourself.
Here in the UK it is illegal... but I am considering something like Brass knuckles or a 'Shock Ring'.
I am all of a sudden getting harassed a lot in town after the shops have closed; I've been attacked once, a bored teenager gave me a flying kick against the back of my head. I got injured, but I took him and his 2 friends on and I was the last one standing.
Maybe next time I won't be so lucky.
By law you are allowed to defend yourself if the force you use is in proportion with the threat you are under.
But as mentioned, most attackers are fucking cowards who are completely masked up (The 'Roadman') and only attack from behind. The first few seconds/ minutes are paramount in a fight and often decide the outcome. So if they are cowards and attack me from behind, then I will retaliate in force coming right at them.
When I was a lot younger (20-25 years ago), I carried a knife... Never used it, even though there have been moments some people might consider using a knife to defend themselves.
When I will retaliate... I am not looking to maim and mutilate someone; I want to inflict pain and, depending on the circumstances, knock them out... so I can calmly phone police after that and wait for them to arrive; that's a bit difficult if you assailant is still moving and resisting.
I will take my responsibility for what I have done... I will not oppose the police and resist them.
I do not recognise the law, I am not afraid of the law (I've got nothing to lose anyway)... I obey laws because I agree with them, not because they are being forced on me; so would I do something criminal, I am man enough to own it up and face whatever punishment might come my way.
ACAB (though I find it difficult to use that because I have nothing against Police Officers themselves... It's the justice system I despise)... And I am an Anarchist; I am allergic to Authority... No Gods, No masters, No Borders.
They should only go where escorted by their guy. That is feminine.
