So, there’s this waitress that comes in everyday when I’m on watch.

Now, I haven’t really been saying “hi” to her specifically until recently and that’s when I go into eat during dinner.

Once I started doing this more directly towards her, she’s been doing the same to me whenever she sees me.

Even today, once I checked her into base, she was like “have a good day sir” specifically to me on her way out.

Then again, right after watch, I see her while I’m getting some grab N go breakfast, where she says hi again to me only while I’m with my crew.

Then finally, once I head out to my car, I see outside and she greets me again as I’m walking off.

She greets me quite a bit now, whenever she sees me.

I think she may have a thing for, like you, or find you attractive

I don’t think she necessarily has a thing for you, likes you, or finds you attractive.

Plod we are an incredibly friend so LG species. Go ask her a question that’s more than “how’s your day.” Something like, “Are you looking forward to going home?” Something generic enough to be inauspicious but that also results in an answer.

It's possible that she is attracted to you however it's impossible to know for sure based on the context you have given us. I'd suggest asking her straight up about her intentions

I’d greet her, holding eye contacting for bit but not for too long at all.
