She offered to have be a simp on her ig why?

I met this girl at school and we started talking on fb.. it wasn't really going anywhere so i ghosted her and she didn't even ask why.
I saw her on ig and started following her there thinking maybe i was in my head previously.. so i commented a few times got likes. I decided to message her for her number. She told me she didn't know me. I reminded her and she said i dont remember you but you can simp me. I said thats weird no thanks.

Now im wondering maybe that was a way in or was she just being terrible?
