What do you think is the main reason why a girl would not respond to a guy for days but responds really positively when sent another text?

Guy expresses romantic attraction immediately. She was attracted enough to exchange contact info and respond. She is texting back as if she likes the guy a lot, not just to be nice, like literally telling the guy that he's the only guy she's talking to right now and that he's different from the other guys she's met.

She wants to see if the guy wants her enough to message again

She wants to see if he isn't impatient/needy/crazy

She was really just so busy

There's probably another guy in the picture

She is just unsure because something seems off

She's protecting her heart just in case

She learned to play this game to keep him on his toes

I had this experience multiple times with 2 different exes of mine, one of which actually was a girl in the picture, but yeah. Was cheated on multiple times and I only found out after I was done with the relationship 2 years in.

Yes we all have backups but even if not that, we still used to feel something for the other guy and feel bad ghosting
