You can go anon here so be honest. I have been approached by very attractive women when I was younger. The confident response is to believe they really liked me. I was supposed to embrace it and not get intimidated.

However more than half the time there was an ulterior agenda and it was disgusting bs. It was both humiliating and infuriating when I embraced their approach in these situations. So girls don’t ever do that. Ever.

I have. I wasn’t really interested in him but I wanted to make the guy I really liked jealous.

I have. I wasn’t interested but I felt sorry for the guy because he looked lonely.

I have. I just wanted attention and/or a free drink/meal/favor

I did sometime if someone seem lonely to just talk them up a little, I do try to make sure they know its just chat not much beyond that
Got friends I know try to use guys, and personally I hate and avoid it all I can

I try to go the other way and basically don't accept any free things from guys I think are interested in me, some seem really dispointed

@red-blaze learn to respectfully direct. Best method is “yeah I need to be honest out of respect. Although I do enjoy talking to you the truth is I am not interested”. Leave it at that. Don’t give any more unnecessary details but you HAVE to be clear on not being interested.

The vast majority of guys might be disappointed or even upset (different than being angry). But if they realize you are being honest OUT of respect they will be thankful. Even if they don’t say it.

The number one issue that causes so much angry, frustration and even misogyny in men is when we feel disrespected by women in romantic situations. That’s insult is worse than just mere sexual/romantic frustration.
