How come younger women are friendly to me and I’m unkempt but my friend doesn’t have the same kind of luck?

Apparently I’m a 7 out of 10 and my friend has been told he’s ugly so I don't know if that’s got anything to do with it. I’m 30 and I look my age but younger women seem friendly to me and nicer to me than they do my friend who’s 32. I wore an adidas jumper and Yankees beanie and the younger women were friendly as but my friend wore a jacket and they gave him dirty looks. What is going on? sometimes I am unshaven and I need a haircut and I still get heaps of friendly reactions. Why? Like there was a woman standing waiting for a bus and I looked at her and she saw me looking and was friendly but my friend gets hostility. I don’t get it. Thank you

In my opinion my friend glares at people and because he’s short and self absorbed he gives off bad vibes

Blue is nice, but I don't think the color makes a difference if someone is glaring or smiling. Brown smiling will beat out brown glaring.
