What does it mean when a girl doesn’t open your message or leaves you on seen?

Question

What are reasons girls don’t even bother replying to guys messages or even opening them?

I’ve messaged a few girls on social media and some of them just leave me on seen or unread.

There’s some girls that do reply immediately to the first message and then when I try build a conversation or build rapport they just don’t even open the chat.

Some girls just never even respond back or even want to converse.

Like I don’t even have a chance to get far 😂

It’s not that I’m flirting or sending creepy texts. All I’m saying is something simple like “Hey!” As the first message and when some reply I throw out a conversation starter.

Is it because the girls I’m messaging have a boyfriend or something or they’re interested in someone else? Like I don’t understand why girls just don’t bother at least acknowledging the text.

It means they’re not interested for one reason or another. You’d get back to a girl your were interested in if she messaged you right?

Also, they’re not responding so as not to open Pandora’s box. A girl will never ever tell you directly she’s not interested in you. She will blow you off, not respond, break the first date you two were supposed to have for some absurd reason. This kind of thing.

Probably they are not interested or your timing is bad and they're having a hard time so they're not in the mood (this reason is one of mine and it happens with everyone, my friends too, and they know it so they understand it's nothing personal against them)

They simply don’t have much interest in keeping you in their communication loop. As a woman myself, the amount of dms I get on a daily basis is completely overwhelming honestly and I prefer to just be in the loop of my friends

could be they're not interested, or just busy. as a woman if I'm really interested in a guy I always respond to his texts no matter how long it takes me, an hour or so but if the girl doesn't really bother to respond to you after a day then you should take the hints, she's not into it or she's entertaining other guys too.

My advice is text her something like , going to Hawaii with my friends, if you want to go let me know quickly. Then don't read her replies until a few weeks later and say you went with some other girl.

If a guy ask the same thing like every single day like “hey” “ how are you doing “ it gets boring and I stop answering. Or even send pics of random stuff with no explanation I don’t get it. He does explain anything that he is doing and give us just the bare minimum and I think he is doing the same to 10 more women.

It means she's not interested. Keep in mind you're also not the only guy messaging her. Girls get multiple messages online daily from random guys they don't know. Sometimes they'll be nice and reply, but most of the time girls just ignore the guy

For me, if it happens within 24h, she's busy enough to not see the message or reply to it, or maybe even forgot to. Any time period after that means that she doesn't care enough to reply, and that in itself is already a message.
