Depends. There are surtain deseases that are rare within periods that cause extreme pain and blood loss to the point they need medical help. If so yes but then they should be diagnosed. Otherwise no. Because most women can take pain killers and they will be good but in some rare cases of disorders like endrometrioses it doesn't help at all.
