When I first met this girl she was nice and happy to see me and talk but now it feels awkward?

She is a lot younger then me but we seem to have a connection which was good when it lasted but now it feels awkward. At first she would be happy to see me and talk and she’d say hi loudly etc and one time when I didn’t sit next to her she looked at me after really weird. Since then we still talked and I sat next to her the next time and she was happy. But now after a few months I saw her again for the first time in a while and when she noticed it was me she would act nervous, it’s awkward as I saw her from a distance and we both smiled and kept going as we were both busy, and then this happened again later that day. After not seeing her for a few more weeks I saw her again yesterday from a distance standing with a friend and she again noticed it was me and totally turned around so her back was to me which was rude. It’s as if things were good, then awkward then she hates me I don’t know.
