Paranoid, idiotic women aren't my problem. Although I'm waiting for @Subarugirl to show up and give us 101 reasons why this is the greatest idea ever since rape whistles, despite her being physically bigger than She Hulk and the type who'll 100% pepper spray a guy just for saying "Hi" to her, even if she's not scared or threatened by him.

Why stop at that? We should all wear "Patriarchy Ankle Bracelets" that monitor us at all times and the government, with Supreme Leader Kamala Harris in charge, know where men are, at all times, and changes color from green to yellow the moment a man comes within 100 feet of a woman. The ankle bracelet will then light up to red the moment the man has any "problematic thoughts" in his head, such as heterosexual attraction to said woman, or speaking to her while making eye contact. And of course, the bracelet will flash red on and off meaning "high alert danger" if the man says any problematic words such as "Trump," "MGTOW," or "double standards."

I know I just stole this idea from Barubie's wet dreams, but don't think for a second this couldn't be our near future. At the very least, California would do it, for sure.

I guess if men got 1 night a week when women are banned from being in public, sure. That way me can feel safe from false accusations of sexual harassment, assault and so on.

Why once a week? Sure, i agree but i think there should be some exceptions since some people work night shifts and stuff. Also, it is simultaneously not doing enough because a man can still harass and molest a woman during daytime, particularly someone she knows.

It's a good start but it's not enough and it doesn't take much into consideration.

More laws won't stop law breakers, they dont care, and even if being out as a man is a crime cops can't catch them all, what they gonna make everyone wear an ankle monitor?

Are women going to be forced to do night shift jobs sense we aren't allowed out? I'm not gonna be on house arrest for half my weekend and I'm not losing pay over this, it would never work.

I voted no because that would mean all the good guys are at home but the bad guys who don't care about breaking the rules would all be out. I just try to be aware of my surroundings, and I really only go out at night by myself if I have to, like for work and I also try to carry some type of weapon.

Nope. MOST of your night shift workers are men. That is the shift where 1st responders have the most action. Many construction projects are done at night to prevent delays. Even taking work out of the equation, such an idea gives one sex a restriction the other does not have to deal with. Also, MOST men do not commit heinous acts against women and the few that do would not obey the curfew anyways.

Finally, should we prevent women from reporting rape cases once a week so there will be fewer false accusations against men? That idea sounds ridiculous and would get shredded real fast, just like this idea.

I’ve never felt unsafe wandering around at night. I used to walk an hour home at 2am in probably one of the worst areas of the city. Never had an issue. And if I’m walking my dog, well anyone would have to be absolutely moronic to approach a snarling dog

Y’know it’s pretty interesting that this is the first image that comes to people’s head when sexual crime is mentioned. A lone woman attacked at night. That’s pretty rare in all honesty. Most sexual crime happens by men the women know. There might’ve been horseplay and the man lost self control. It might happen in a house when noone is home by a relative. It might be by a significant other in their apartment. The random stranger rapist does happen but it’s not as common.
