in my opinion this depends on what kind of a girl you're dealing with, i feel like some may get offended. it also depends on circumstances; if just any guy called me handsome i would laugh and wouldn't be bothered but if a guy i like said that to me i would start wondering whether he sees a girl in me or not really lmao
