Friend makes weird jokes about her boyfriend liking me?

The three of us are friends and all got to know each other at the same time through work however they started dating eventually. I’ve never been interested in him and as far as I know he’s never been interested in me but people used to ask if we liked each other because we got along (worked with kids lol). But whenever we hang out now, my friend will make weird, off comments to him about me whenever we talk about our old job like “everybody thought you guys hooked up” and “I know you had a crush on her always giggling and stuff” and he either denies it or doesn’t say anything because it’s awkward. She’ll even refer to me sometimes as his “little girlfriend”? And she’s always smirking and laughing when the three of us are together but she’s totally normal if it’s just us. Is she just insecure or what? Makes me feel awkward about talking with him and not want to hang with either of them anymore lol
