So I was at the bar two nights ago. I asked a girl that I’d been taking to the entire time if she wanted to meet outside of the bar in the future. She turned me down, but got mad and started yelling when she saw me leaving 2 hours later at closing with another woman

She was attracted to you, but not attracted enough. She wanted you to try harder so she could feel more desirable relative to her perception of your attractiveness. If she wasn't interested in you, she would've been fine with you confirming your interest. She also might've been drunk, hence the outbursts.

My guess is she wanted to be important to you, even though you are not important to her. It's a status/ego thing. "I want you to want me, to feel longing for me, it boosts my ego. What? You've moved on already, you just asked me out an hour ago, and after I said 'no' you were supposed to be hurt and sad, not move on and ask someone else!"

Seeing you with another woman hurt her pride that she considered herself "out of your league", but then saw you had no problem moving on.
