Women want unpredictability. They're attracted to men they can't figure out or easily get. To them, easy men are low value since they can be easily manipulated. Thier lizard brains see these dudes as society's punching bags, unfit for protection and acquiring resources. Meaning, they're bad husbands and fathers.

Women want to earn your validation. Being difficult makes you seem more valuable to them, for a myriad of reasons such as the illusion of self reliance and abundance of options. Being easy makes you seem desperate and less successful with women overall. Since they have a heard mentality, women usually follow popular opinion. Plus, validating her for free is more than enough to satisfy her. She'll feel confident that she can attract men in general and move on to greater ventures.

Women are very fickle and want to know they have value. Many rather you not get them even though they like you. The longer you chase the more important they think you think they are.

Other option is she is a hunter and once she gets a number or a body she then moves on. I know a few women like this.
