In my early 20s, there was one girl who I went steady with for quite a while. She was my fourth girlfriend. But I started to see flashes of what her body would look like when she got older. I was pretty sure she was going to get fat and saggy. So, having realized that I couldn't see myself spending the rest of my life with her, I eventually broke up. I know that sounds shallow, but I was in my early 20s and, at the time I just saw her as another girlfriend, not a life partner. So I continued my search.

No, this has not happened. For one thing, I am discerning and a pick picky. So, I have assessed her early. But, regardless, when I see her naked I will always (always!) be Aggressively affirming. I make a policy of smiling, gasping, making eye contact when I tell her how beautiful she is, etc. She deserves to feel good about herself in a very vulnerable moment. I would not let myself do anything that might make her believe I am disappointed in her naked body—let alone making her feel rejected.

In addition to her deserving to feel secure and appreciated, I also deserve to get great sex from her because she is affirmed and (hopefully, relatively) relaxed. It’s a win-win.

Now at 48 kg, I feel much more comfortable and confident in myself again.

@SlothySlob Nope. It’s going to be a bit long read… 😝 My ex never told me he didn’t like my weight. It’s just I knew he liked slimmer and taller girls and I was none of them.

When I met him I was 50 Kg, but he was very athletic and really attractive, so I lost 2-3 kg and we looked really good when we were together.

We lived together for 6 months and both of us were fit. During pandemic, his country - China got closed for the foreigners and we were in long distance, I couldn’t go to his country - China, while before that we lived together and had our whole future planned together, it affected my mood a lot, my home, my diploma, my clothes, my boyfriend - everything was back in China.

I was depressed, worked from home and gained about 5 kilograms. That’s thankfully my maximum.

China, on the other hand, kept normal life locked out from the whole world and nothing changed for him. He lived a life like before, but couldn’t leave his country.

My ex was very attractive and lots of girls were interested in him. However, he proposed me when I was 53 kg.

So when I finally got the news of coming back to China, I got motivated to lose weight. And started working out, I lost 2 kilograms, but we broke up before then. I didn’t meet him in China.

Our break up caused me a big stress and the loss of appetite. I lost 4 more kg in just 1 month and then when I started feeling better, got into a workout routine to maintain the weight and likely lose 1-2 kg more.

If you dislike it, you can say so, but saying that is gross, is a bit too harsh and doesn’t make you sound that experienced.
