TBH the question bubbled up from me thinking this weekend about abortion and “when does life begin” aspects of the debate. I didn’t wanna start asking in that context as gag has had one too many abortion debates and that can’t be solved.

I was genially curious if women felt any guilt for another potential life (from their egg) dying every month. I did know they feel guilt from that egg being fertilized and a miscarriage or abortion. So asked to see if any felt guilt before conception.

Ahh, ok that's a very legitimate and excellent question. Only... you maybe should have provided some context for what you meant... because unless people read what you just wrote to me here... this is gonna be misinterpreted.

What this LOOKS like is a guy who thinks that a period is something to be ashamed of or feel guilty for experiencing (and it's only because I recognized who posted this... that I didn't lay into you about this... because I assumed it wasn't what you meant).

But nobody is likely to connect the dots and think about guilt due to the loss of another egg without it being fertilized. They're going to assume you're coming from the "periods are a shameful thing to hide and feel guilty about" angle. At least that's my prediction. I hope I'm wrong about that. But let's see what happens... 🙂

(still, you're quite right about abortion questions. It's not a debate worth having. It's a deep personal beliefs thing. Not a rationality thing. That debate is never ever a productive one. Ever. So I appreciate what you were going for)

Yep it’s sad that because I have a blue account the question could be seen as a misogynistic attempt but too be fair I understand why based on other such attempts on gag that I also have laid into the asker about. Not really. There's nothing I can do about it. The only time I'd feel guilty is if I accidentally got blood on someone's sheets or something like that. But even then, it would mostly just be embarrassing. On occasion, I feel ashamed or worried that men will be disgusted, just because it still feels like a bit of a taboo subject that most guys would rather stay out of, but I imagine I'll get out of that.

Kind of yes. My first day or two are often hard which leads to me being useful for nothing. When someone planned something with me or I had something planned, the result is I have to say sorry I can't. Sometimes I can't keep up with houseshores and when he needs to do something after a stressful work day, yes that can make me feel guilty.

I dont think they feel guilt man. If anything there heartbroken. Some women when there pregnant there hormones are everywhere and some say stuff they dont mean. The emotions is something they can't control. I would know because my first girlfriend suffered a miscarriage herself.
